Not finding much inspiration to shoot landscapes on the first day of spring, I decided to head down to Cincinnati Zoo to see if the animals were active after their brief winter hibernation. I have always been ambivalent about zoos and animals, but decided to check it out anyway.

The day started out cold and wasn't much activity earlier in the day outside, so decided to check out the indoor bird exhibits. Cincinnati Zoo has some unique birds exhibits featuring some exotic birds as well and it was beautiful to observe these creatures at such close proximity.

The lighting outside was pretty harsh and was not impressed with the outside shots.
